MotoGP Stories 2015 at the S.F. D-Store
I’m pleased to announce that I will be giving my annual MotoGP Stories presentation at the San Francisco D-Store on Friday, January 29th at 6:30PM.
I will show images from the 2015 season and tell some of my behind-the-scenes stories of life as a MotoGP photographer.
For the 2015 edition of my MotoGP Stories presentation I’ll be telling the audience what it’s like to:
- Get kicked out of a MotoGP team garage
- Go undercover in pit lane for a major factory
- Be at the wrong place at the wrong time
- Find out just where you stand with Jorge Lorenzo
People who have attended past editions of this presentation have had this to say afterward:
“As an avid MotoGP fan, I never miss a chance to see Scott Jones. Scott’s presentations bring together his incredible photos and “behind the scenes’ insights that only an insider with Scott’s access can share. Scott’s presentations and honest answers to audience questions have always put the MotoGP season into focus for me like no other source.” – George O.
“One of MotoGP’s great photojournalists, Scott Jones brings his vivid photos of Grand Prix racing to life with his compelling stories from behind the lens.” – Jensen B.
“My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed Scott’s unique look into what a professional motor sports photographer deals with when shooting a major race. I think that other GP fans would love to hear his insight and stories as much as we did.” – Jimil B.
“Great insight into what’s required to take these beautiful shots. I didn’t know how much preparation it took to capture something as unique as the both wheels in the air at Laguna Seca in the “First in Flight” picture of Marc Marquez. Thanks for making it very accessible for those of us not so savvy with the camera gear.” – Dorota H.
I will be available from 6PM to chat and answer questions before the presentation, which will start promptly at 6:30 to avoid going late.
If you’re in San Francisco on January 29, please do spend the evening hearing my stories about working on MotoGP. RSVP to the D-Store appreciated but not required.
See you there!
