Jorge Lorenzo Claims First 2014 Victory at Aragon

In perhaps the most exciting MotoGP race so far in the 2014 season, Movistar Yamaha rider Jorge Lorenzo claimed his first victory of the year.

After fighting heroically with Repsol Honda riders Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa, Lorenzo was the first of the top three to come in for wet tires when the rain finally arrived.

That decision was the right one, and Lorenzo inherited the lead when both Repsol riders crashed on slick tires.

Yamaha thus collected a first ever victory at Aragon as Lorenzo claimed his first win of 2014.

    Amazing photo! This site is a great resource for those of us who can’t get enough awesome motorcycle photography, so keep up the good work!

    Unfortunately, the title for this post spoiled the race result for me when it popped up in my RSS feed before I got a chance to watch the race =(. Watching the race was still great fun, of course, but is there any way that future titles could be spoiler free, at least for posts that go up on the same day as the race? (A la motomatters, asphalt&rubber, etc).

    Anyway, thanks again for all the amazing photos!
