MotoGP Losail Qatar 2015

MotoGP 2015 got off to a cracking start last night in Qatar, with three exciting races that showed we may be in for some surprises.

Moto3 saw some familiar names in new liveries battling at the front, with new-comer Fabio Quartararo join the battle at a tender 15 years of age. He showed he’s the real thing, though, despite is age. As 2-time CEV champ, he is ready to mix it up with the Moto3 gang.

Moto2 saw a run away turn into a surprise ending, flavored with a hair-raising close call. Tito Rabat is sure to have his hands full in defense of his title.

MotoGP may have held the most surprises of any class, given that for the first time in ages, two Ducatis were on a podium that displayed not a single Spanish flag. Marquez did not make the podium, a very rare instance in his two-season+1 race career. With three Ducatis in the top 10, and two on the box, 2015 looks to be very interesting indeed.

    Superb pics as ever Scott.
How many pics did you shoot over the 4-5 days and how many do you delete. Or do you keep everything, even the out of focus, crappy ones?

Hi Jeff, thx for the comment/questions. I usually have around 3k pics to sort through by the end of a race weekend. I throw a lot away and try to get the total number as low as possible in order to have fewer files to back up. Some race catalogs have only 1k images by the end.
