MotoGP FP1 was disrupted by a dog who managed to sneak past track security and gain access not only to the circuit but to the track itself. Yellow flags were waved around the Turn 16 infield section before the session had to be stopped. Marshals chased the dog and finally got him off the track. He was found to have no media credential, not even a paddock pass.

All joking aside, please don’t bring your pets to race tracks. The dog was terrified and given the wet conditions, his running around on the circuit might easily have caused a crash.

UPDATE: The canine was finally collected by Austin Animal Services, as you can read here.
