CotA 2015 Motogp: After Saturday’s thrilling qualifying session, it was difficult to imagine something other than a Marc Marquez victory on race day. Marquez has dominated at this circuit since its inclusion in the MotoGP calendar. But with a rejuvenated Valentino Rossi, a determined Jorge Lorenzo, a revitalized Ducati GP15 in the capable hands of the Andreas (Dovizioso and Iannone), and the very quick Cal Crutchlow and Scott Redding qualifying well, perhaps anything could happen on Sunday.

But anything didn’t happen, and while the race for top spot went pretty much as expected, fans were treated to a great fight for the other spots on the podium.
