Here is the latest speed and gear selection telemetry track map from Yamaha.

Notice this time that the Yamahas do not use first gear, and spend most of their time by far in second and third. After leaving Borgo San Lorenzo they stay in third all the way through Arrabiata 2, finally downshifting for Scarperia. The Yamahas don’t use fourth often, and accelerate in fifth and six only once.

I’m pleased to see that on this map there is more detail in the telemetry than I’ve seen on the previous circuit maps: The downshifts into San Donato are represented on this map, but have been missing on earlier editions. The top speed indicator is also directly at the end of the orange sixth gear indication, whereas in past version this shown up before the telemetry indicates a downshift from top gear.
