Though the Isle of Man TT is the best known event in motorcycle road racing, the Ulster GP is known as the fastest.
Set in Belfast, Nothern Ireland, the event used to be part of the FIM World Championship and boasts past winners such as Giacomo Agostini, Mike Hailwood, Jim Redman, John Surtees, Angel Nieto, and Kel Carruthers.
Now it is part of the modern Roads series and many of the riders we see at the IoMTT contend on the Dundrod circuit. In 2010, Bruce Anstey set a lap record of 133.977 mph, ‘making him the fastest rider on the fastest motorcycle racing circuit in the world.‘
