Guest Shooter: Mark Sherman at Catalunya, 2014

Mark Sherman is a web developer by trade and an avid photographer and MotoGP fan. He has been taking photos for many years but has been approaching photography much more seriously since getting his first DSLR in 2006. 2007 was his first experience photographing MotoGP.
Two years ago he upgraded to a Canon 7D and has his eye on a Canon 6D. His most used lens at the track is a Canon 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L zoom lens, but he also likes to shoot wide when the situation permits.
At the Circuit of Barcelona he was usually zoomed into 400mm, but not always. He found a fair number of places around the track where he could shoot over the spectator fences, and at least one spot where he could shoot through the fence. He’d like to return to Catalunya as he’s sure there are good photography opportunities he didn’t find in the three days he was there in 2014.
He’ll be attending the British GP at Silverstone, though from past experience knows it’s not as interesting shooting there. But he’s still looking forward to it.
Thanks, Mark, for sharing your images from Catalunya!
