The first race of the 2015 TT on the Isle of Man was held yesterday. The top ten riders in the 6-lap Superbike event are shown below in images from Steve English.

Above, Michael Dunlop was oh so close to another podium when he got tangled up with back marker Scott Wilson at the Nook. While Wilson suffered a broken clavicle, Dunlop said afterward, “I’m all right. Stiff and sore, but I’m okay.”

David Johnson came home in 10th.

Lee Johnston, ninth.

Peter Hickman, eighth.

Dan Kneen held honors of top Manx rider with seventh place.

Michael Rutter, sixth.
