Colin Edwards II completes his final U.S. MotoGP race today at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The 2-time World Superbike Champ will retire at the end of the 2014 season, as he announced earlier this year at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas.

The MotoGP paddock will simply not be the same with Edwards not there, should that be what the future holds. We can only hope that he will continue to be a presence in the top level of motorbike racing in some capacity other than as a rider.
