In the ongoing story of Honda MotoGP championships, the Japanese manufacturer claimed its fourth consecutive premier class Constructor’s Title at Sepang, and extended its record across all classes to a remarkable 63 titles.
2014 is Honda’s 21st in the premier class (eight in MotoGP and 13 in 500cc), to which they add six 350cc titles, 19 titles in the 250cc class, 15 in the 125cc class, and two in the 50cc class. Honda riders have won 695 races across all Grand Prix classes.
Points for the Constructor’s Title are earned by the highest placed finish of a given constructor’s entry. Marc Marquez earned the lion’s share of course, with his 12 victories so far in 2014. Dani Pedrosa, Stefan Bradl and Alvaro Bautista also contributed to the winning tally of 384 points.
