As February dawns on owners of the , a certain Valentino Rossi graces this month’s page.

Caught at Silverstone with flames escaping the Akrapovic pipe on his Yamaha YZR-M1, Rossi returns as Mr. February, having held this position in most if not every edition of the calendar.

Though Valentino’s birthday is not actually on Valentine’s Day (Randy De Puniet’s is, however), it’s only two days later, on February 16th. Ironically, or perhaps merely coincidentally, ROssi’s birthday is one day before that of Marc Marquez.

All these interesting birthday facts are something habitual buyers of the calendar have come to expect, along with full MotoGP and WSBK schedules (accurate at time of printing), David Emmett’s expert commentary about whichever of my photos was sleeted for a given month.
