Now that we have more factories joining the MotoGP grid, let’s take a closer look at the 2015 Aprilia MotoGP bike, specifically its shift linkage. This image from the 2014 Valencia test.

Notice that the electronic sensor wire exits and heads toward the rear of the bike, rather than forward as on Honda’s, which you may wish to view here for direct comparison. Honda also uses more carbon fiber bits here and there, such as on the chain guards.
