It was a cracking Moto3 race that came down to the final corner, much more exciting than the main event.

While the result at the front on the main event was settled with 25 laps to go, the contests at the back were hard fought.

Marc Marquez endured a broken finger, fought off a charging Rossi, and claimed the best possible result given the situation.

Valentino Rossi tried to chase down Marc Marquez, but in the end was the prudent veteran, claiming third place points with his eye on the 2015 title.

Jorge Lorenzo was perfect on track.
