British MotoGP 2015 – Friday Scenes
British MotoGP 2015 – Friday Scenes: It’s pretty late here at Silverstone, so few words to go along with a few photos. Above, Jorge Lorenzo was fastest today, just barely ahead of Marc Marquez.
It’s a team effort, keeping Marquez only .033 behind a Lorenzo who is flying with all the momentum of the moment. Santi Hernandez, Marquez’ crew chief, joins his rider for a close look at the rear Bridgestone tire.
Dani Pedrosa was fourth fastest in spite of a broken rear brake that caused the rear wheel to slow him down.
Andrea Iannone crashed his Ducati GP15 but got it up and rode it back to the box. This gave us a view inside those winglets!
Aleix Espargaro was sixth, once again finding some speed in spite of how the past few rounds have gone.
Eugene Laverty had a good day, 12th fastest for a while, and ending in 16th.
Riding in his home GP, Bradley Smith has a new contract with Tech 3 freshly inked and was looking fast in third place.
