“For me the big story about this picture is Juan Llansá’s anxious look at the rear tire as Lorenzo is welcomed by these 2 open hands giving an important depth to the scene.
I wanted to keep the sky because there are few places in the world where you can have such a beautiful sky to highlight the ground action.
I have “cheated” a little, just making an isolated selection of the sky to lower its luminosity and doing so, find the blue back, without damaging the rest of the picture.”
