Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa tested at Brno during the sumer break and thus brought recent base settings to the track for a dry morning session, which saw Marquez fastest and Pedrosa third, as Jorge Lorenzo snuck into second only .037 behind the leader.

In FP2 the rain arrived at the start of the session, and only Andrea Iannone and Hector Barbera set dry times to lead the session. Neither was close to Marquez’ morning time, however. Marquez and Pedrosa were fastest of the wet times, separated by only .002.

As discussed by David Emmett in his race preview, Brno could be the place where we see Marquez’ run of perfect results come to an end. Lorenzo’s FP1 time suggests he should be on the pace to challenge here this weekend.
