Helmet Art – MotoGp CotA 2015

After the night lights of Losail, this past MotoGP weekend at Circuit of the Americas provided some day light in which to view the season’s helmet designs.

From one-off helmets to new designs for a new season, to returning and familiar helmet art designs, MotoGP helmets are one of my favorite visual elements of this amazing sport. A mixture of a rider’s personal expression, the designer’s creativity, and the graphic needs of sponsor agreements, helmet art is almost always interesting to look at.

Some helmets below you’ll recognize, some you may not. Below (and above), some close ups of MotoGP helmets from CotA. I’m going to leave the identification for the comment section.
