Day 2 at Mugello 2015
Andrea Dovizioso was second Ducati and completes the front row. Does he have what he needs to fight for the win?
Dani Pedrosa found that the top 12 riders were covered by less than a second, and being .386 behind meant 7th on the grid.
Before FP2, Rossi unzipped his leathers and lounged intensely in his black undershirt as his crew tried to find a solution to his slower pace.
Jack Miller considers when to leave for his final run.
Lorenzo was a flash on track, just not quite flash enough for pole.
In the end, Andrea Iannone claimed the top spot with a Mugello Best Lap record of 1’46.489. He also set a new MotoGP speed record, going 350.8 kph (217.9 mph), and that’s on only TWO wheels. Congratulations on his first ever MotoGP pole position!
