Keeping another Valentino Rossi tradition alive and well, the 9-time World Champ revealed his special Mugello helmet today. This year’s Aldo Drudi design features a chrome dome that reflects its surroundings, while the lower section shows graphics from a Renewable Energy theme.

The left side of the crash hat also features decals in the shape of paw prints representing his cat and two bulldogs.

The color porogression is from red for FP1 to orange to green to yellow for the Race.

Rossi’s special helmets usually have a theme reflecting something going on in his life or career, and I suspect this one refers to his renewed competitiveness as the 2015 Championship leader.
