Saturday Scenes from Phillip Island MotoGP
Given the considerable time difference between Phillip Island and the majority of PhotoGP readers, no spoilers in this post, only photos from Saturday’s action.
Above, a follow up to yesterday’s image of Marc Marquez’ left handlebar grip – the left hand is still bandaged as the bone heals.
Even with the injury, Marquez is on the pace.
Is that a motorcycle or an alien war ship? Ducati’s winglets are getting more and more extreme.
You can even see them from the rear, as Dovizioso departs PI’s unique pit lane.
After some Twitter interaction with Damian Cudlin, I was pleased to meet him in person this afternoon. It turns out his helmet was painted by mutual friend Marc Garcia of Magaro Paintings.
Guess who’ll be the latest MotoGP Legend – this guy! Congratulations Nicky Hayden.
