Ben Spies scored podium finishes in his first two appearances at IMS. With Nicky Hayden on the sidelines as he recovers from wrist surgery, Colin Edwards is the only American rider in the top class at a U.S. round. For my part, I wish Ben were still in MotoGP, and I feel that particularly when the show takes the track in Indianapolis.
