Dakota Mamola will ride in his first GP this weekend at Silverstone, filling in for the ailing Nico Terol.

Dakota is the son of GP legend Randy Mamola and currently a Moto 2 Rider in the FIM CEV Championship for Team Aspar. So filling in on Aspar’s sister GP Moto 2 team is a natural fit.

Dakota received advice on how to get the most out of this special occasion in a rider’s career when he joined Dani Pedrosa on stage at Riders for Health‘s Day of Champions fundraiser auction. Dani’s advice: enjoy it, because it only happens once.
