Brno Michelin Test 2015
At least in pit lane there were a few things worth seeing. Cal Crutchlow’s crew may still be wearing the CWM Rewards logo but the bike was dressed in Castrol green. Our amigos over at Crash.net got the scoop from LCR boss Lucio Cecchinello.
I must say I really like the old-school look of this livery.
Several bikes had slicks and dry setups ready to go, but only a few made it on track. Pol Espargaro was one, but moments later the rain started in earnest and the slicks went back into the truck.
Notice that the Bridgestone logos have disappeared from the Tech 3 Yamaha, as they have from all the other bikes participating on the day.
The Bridgestone logo was also absent from the riders’ leathers. Pol made good use of some black tape to cover up the Bridgestone name on his suit.
So long, tire man. We can only hope the test testing opportunity bears more fruit than Brno…
