Video – Photo Reconstruction Pedrosa Saturated

Posted on 24 May, 2016 by Scott Jones

My latest photography editing video is now available on YouTube. The above image shows the unprocessed file on the left and the finished version on the right.

This video is another Photo Reconstruction, and this time the subject is an image of Dani Pedrosa leaving the Repsol Honda pit box at Losail in 2015. The final image has lots of contrast and saturation in the style of Pete Turner.

This is the shorter edit of the extended 14-minute version, which includes: a behind the scenes look at what it’s like to work in a MotoGP pit lane; several minutes showing details of my Adobe Lightroom workflow while looking briefly at thumbnails of the 200+ images created during this particular session in pit lane; talk about how I approach working in pit lane and what types of images I look for; and more detailed discussion of why I cropped this image as I did.

The extended version is available to my Patreon supporters. For more information please click here.
